Knife Terminal for iOS mirrors terminal sessions from the Knife Terminal Mac app. It is built so that we (CW&T) never see your data.
The content of your terminal sessions — screen text, chat transcripts, project names, and anything you type — syncs between your Mac and your iPhone through your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). This data is readable only by your Apple account. It never touches our servers, and we have no ability to access it.
Nothing. The app has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no accounts. We collect no personal information.
Push notifications (for example, "a session is waiting for you") are delivered by Apple's push service, triggered by your own Mac through your private iCloud database.
The complete source code is public at github.com/cheewee2000/knife-terminal, so all of the above can be verified.
